Advantage Pennsylvania Exporters

As a firm supporting businesses in all of the United States, I'm surprised and impressed with the resources that the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania offers its businesses. If you are a PA domiciled business interested in exporting your products or services, I'd like to highlight: "Bringing the World to PA" to Kick-Off Sept 12 Harrisburg, PA - The Pennsylvania Office of International Business Development (OIBD), —within the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) — and its 10 Regional Export Network (REN) partners are preparing for Bringing the World to PA, September 12-23, 2022. Bringing the World to PA evolved from a one-week event into a two-week event to meet the demands of increased participation across the Commonwealth. At each event location, Pennsylvania's Authorized Trade Representatives will meet one-on-one with Pennsylvania companies seeking foreign market intelligence and agent and distributor candidates, as well as industry and government contacts. This is quite an opportunity for PA businesses seeking exporting opportunities - whether you are looking to find your first foreign buyer or growing your exporting program into other countries. If only connecting with domestic buyers was this easy! In addition to organizing the Bringing The World to PA event, the OIBD collaborates with its REN partners to provide Pennsylvania manufacturing and service firms with export development services, including market research, market entry strategies, educational seminars and technical training, and access to grant programs and financing. Contacting your local office is your first step in growing your business through exporting. It's easier and more profitable than you may realize. Exports generally provide at least a 40% profit margin and protect against regional economic downturns.
